Whisper is a quiet filly, with a very gentle nature. She would be best described as disciplined both in hand and undersaddle, with a bombproof personality which makes her reliable in the trickiest of situations. When it comes to her handlers and jockey, she forms strong bonds quickly and enjoys to spend time with the people that she knows although she can be distant from strangers. In the pasture, Whisper is just as quiet as in the yard - submissive to the more dominant horses and very laid back. This makes her the perfect pasture partner for horses which like company but need to be in control. On the track, Whisper maintains her calm nature although she can be a little mischievous before loading.

Whisper breaks nicely from the gate and settles in behind the leaders, allowing them to set the pace and (unless held back by her jockey) matching it. She stays close to the front runners throughout the race, pushing up around the middle of the race to within striking distance for the final furlongs. Here, she will fight to take the lead and maintain it - eager to please her jockey and therefore unwilling to slip back through the field.
